arun, call at&t. if you haven't been an at&t customer, have an at&t friend put their SIM in the phone and make a call. then have them call at&T and ask for the unlock code (or do it online on the at&t website).

HELP...need to unlock a LG GS290 cookie fresh phone for my wife. Its locked to Vodafone in Ireland. IMEI no is 359289-03-459708-4.
